John 3:16

I made the draft for this papercutting since December last year, meant for Christmas. But I never had the will to sit down and actually start cutting. Last week I made adjustments to the font type and I printed the template on a 90gsm paper. I've always used papers of 160 (or more) gsm thickness and have always thought that cutting on thinner papers would be way too hard (as they would tear more easily). However, I sat down for two days and cut very slowly and I nailed it. It was actually a good experience. I loved the way it felt when my blade cut through the paper very lightly yet powerful enough to slice a line. I think I might do more of this.

We're all getting ready for Easter, physically and spiritually :)
