Most clothespins here where I live are not wooden ones, they're made of plastic and they're ugly as hell :) I bought a pack of classic old wooden clothes pins from ACE hardware and stuck scraps of colorful patterned papers on both sides of them and tada! I used one as a tag pin for my friend's birthday present.
p.s: Use these pins to hang important notes and you sure won't miss them cos you'll be looking at them frequently. The colors are addictive.
