DIY Photo Props

I got asked to help out a team of photographers and make up artists that do pre-wedding photographs in my town and provide them with a number of prop items. I did this about 3 weekends ago but the fact that there's a lot of different items all at once makes it harder for me to wanna put it up here on the blog. So it's 3 weeks late, but here are the highlights.

I tried yarn-wrap method for the first time ever, and the worst luck was that I tried it with an "M". The shape of this letter makes it hard to find solution as to how the yarn should be rolled so it can cover all area. I attempted this method for literally a day and did not result in anything. I gave up and moved on to the old "paper-mache" art-attack style: pva glue, loo roll, some paints.

Much better and definitely much more fun.

Made fifteen pinwheels out of scrapbook-papers and bamboo chopsticks.

Gotta be my favorite props. Satay sticks and linen papers.

Put them all in an empty bottle, tied a tiny ribbon and they looked so pretty.

Foam board turned into a polaroid frame.

Yes, this photo is upside down.

The first photoshoot starts this Saturday. Wish us luck.
